Greg Breeding
Greg Breeding graduated from Heavener High School in 2004 before continuing his studies at the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith and Carl Albert State College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Music. He later attended Northeastern State University and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Mr. Breeding began his career working as a drum technician and private lesson instructor while teaching percussion students throughout the Muskogee area. As his responsibilities within Muskogee Public Schools expanded, he taught students in grades 7–12 and ultimately pursued certification in music education.
He later served as the elementary music teacher at Irving Elementary School in Muskogee, where he taught kindergarten through fifth grade students for four years. When the opportunity arose to return to band education at the 6th and 7th Grade Academy, he eagerly accepted the position.
Mr. Breeding currently teaches 6th grade trumpet, 6th and 7th grade percussion, and 6th and 7th grade bass guitar. He also serves as Head Director of the 7th Grade Band and Director of the Rock Band program. Under his leadership, ensembles have earned multiple superior ratings in both concert and jazz performance settings.
Mr. Breeding is proud to work alongside his wife, Lindsey, and enjoys sharing his passion for music education with students throughout the Muskogee band program.
