Harvey Price serves as the Director of Fine Arts for Muskogee Public Schools, where he oversees the district’s visual and performing arts programs and works closely with teachers and administrators to provide meaningful educational opportunities for students. Throughout his career, Mr. Price has been a strong advocate for music and arts education, dedicating decades to helping students and educators achieve excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

Prior to serving as Director of Fine Arts, Mr. Price spent 35 years as a successful band director/ music educator in Talequah and another 15 years in GrandView. He developed award-winning programs and mentored countless students and young teachers. His leadership has helped strengthen arts programs throughout the region while fostering a culture of creativity, discipline, and achievement. In recognition of his contributions to music education, Mr. Price was inducted into the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association Hall of Fame in 2026. He remains committed to ensuring that every student has access to high-quality arts education and opportunities for personal growth through the arts.
