Lindsey Breeding
Lindsey Breeding grew up in Mustang, Oklahoma, where she developed her passion for music and participated in numerous honor ensembles, including the Oklahoma All-State Band as a saxophonist. She graduated from Mustang High School in 2002 before attending the University of Central Oklahoma, where she earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2006. While at UCO, she performed with both the Wind Symphony and Jazz Ensembles.
Mrs. Breeding began her teaching career in 2007 as an Assistant Band Director in Tahlequah Public Schools. In 2008, she joined Muskogee Public Schools, where she has since dedicated her career to developing young musicians and strengthening the district’s band program.
She currently serves as Electives Team Lead and Instructional Lead at the 6th and 7th Grade Academy and leads the Muskogee beginning band recruitment program. Mrs. Breeding teaches woodwinds at the 6th and 7th grade level and assists with the Rock Band program. Throughout her career, her ensembles have consistently earned superior ratings, and she remains passionate about helping beginning musicians build a strong foundation for future success.
Mrs. Breeding considers it a blessing to work alongside her husband, Greg, and is proud to support their son, Carter, as an active member of the Muskogee band program.
