Steve Wiles
Steve Wiles is a graduate of Northeastern State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1987. He is currently in his 40th year as a music educator with Muskogee Public Schools and continues to play an important role in the success of the district’s band program.
Mr. Wiles serves as a brass specialist and assists with both the high school bands and the 6th and 7th Grade Academy band program. In addition to his work in the classroom, he serves as Music Director at the Presbyterian Church of Muskogee, where he regularly performs on trumpet.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Wiles has dedicated himself to developing young musicians and supporting music education in Muskogee. He is an Honorary Member of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity and was recognized with the Brent Cannon Music Education Alumni Achievement Award for his contributions to the profession.
Outside of music, Mr. Wiles enjoys spending time fishing.
